Compilation of historical and recent digital elevation models (surface models) derived through Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data of the Northwest Territories. The compilation represents georeferenced coverage of very high resolution data (1 m spatial resolution) of NWT communities, infrastructure corridors, and other areas of interest. Digital surface models (DSM) represent the elevations of both the natural and built environment, including bare ground, vegetation, and buildings. Elevations are referenced to either the CGVD28 HT2.0 (Canadian Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1928, Height Transformation 2.0; unknown epochs) or the current CGVD2013 (Canadian Geodetic Vertical Datum of 2013) vertical datum, however, for a limited number of datasets the vertical datum is unknown. LiDAR vendors may have performed positional adjustments based on ground control points where necessary based on project requirements.
